| Eduardo Serra, foi convidado como associado honorário em 1999. Decorria o mês de Fevereiro, quando realizamos com ele o primeiro Workshop na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema.
Eduardo Serra , natural de Lisboa, instalou-se em Paris em 1963 depois de se ter envolvido em lutas estudantis quando frequentava o Instituto Superior Técnico. Em Paris licenciou-se em letras – História da Arte e Arqueologia – na Universidade de Paris- Sorbonne.
Iniciou a sua carreira no cinema como assistente de imagem, chegando à fotografia em 1980.
Ao longo da sua carreira tem ganho prestigiados prémios, sendo que o seu ponto mais alto da carreira foi em 1996 quando foi nomeado para a melhor fotografia pela Academia de Cinema de Hollywood, com o seu trabalho em “ Wings of the Dove” de Iain Softley e ter ganho o prémio BAFTA pela Academia Britânica.

Eduardo Serra é membro da AFC - França tendo sido presidente entre 1996-98.
Tornou-se também membro da Associação americana ASC em 2002. |

No dia 10 de Junho de 2004, dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas, Eduardo Serra, recebeu do Presidente da Répública Jorge Sampaio a Ordem do Infante D.Henrique-comendador.

| Eduardo Serra teve um longo percurso de assistente de imagem, sendo focus-puller em mais de 30 longas metragens antes de embarcar na direcção de fotografia.
Eduardo Serra também é titular da Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (desde 1994).
