The evocation of light, which was the raw material with which the Man of Light worked all his life, in cinema, leads him to other reflections on the mysterious nature of light; in a pilgrimage that interweaves personal memories with metaphysical interrogations to the ends of the cosmos.
Director’s Biography:
Acácio de Almeida studied in Paris at Centre Universitaire de Cinéma Expérimental becoming one of the most renowned Portuguese DOP. Worked as AD in some films and immediately started is career of DOP, being responsible for almost 150 films.
Marie Carré is a French born actress who studied with Patrice Chéreau and has been cast in several shorts, TV series and feature films.
Eighty four years old DOP looks back to career and cinema and, together with his wife, signs a first film.
